Product Introduction
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia Mill.) is a plant from the Lamiaceae family. Lavender Essential Oil is extracted from lavender and offers benefits such as clearing heat and detoxifying, cleansing the skin, controlling oil, and promoting the regeneration of damaged tissue. Lavender Essential Oil also soothes the mind and is helpful for insomnia.
Lavender Essential Oil Production Process
Lavender essential oil is extracted using steam distillation. Prepare lavender flowers and place them in a distillation apparatus. Add an appropriate amount of water, then heat the system to around 90°C and maintain for a period. As the temperature rises, the essential oil from the lavender flowers is released and carried with the steam into the collector. After cooling, the essential oil will naturally float to the top and can be collected. The extracted essential oil may contain small amounts of impurities and water, so it needs to be filtered and purified before use. Use a professional filter or gauze to remove impurities, and consider adding antioxidants and preservatives to ensure quality and shelf life.
